Open Heart Wellness reflects the values of its founder, Carol Ryan, who seeks to live each day with an open heart and an attitude of gratitude. Reiki / Meditation Volunteer Practitioner and Teacher, Writer and Editor, Carol is known among friends, colleagues, and students for her calm and healing energy, kindness and compassion, and the giving nature she brings to all she does. Carol considers it a blessing to share this work with others, who report feelings of deep relaxation and well being after a session with her.
Nonny's Naturals was inspired by Carol's beloved Italian grandmother. "Nonny" was a natural artist who left memories of painting beautiful designs on china plates and gathering backyard dandelion greens to cook. Carol blends natural and organic ingredients to create a variety of items, each lovingly hand crafted and infused with positive energy and intention. See the Aromatherapy page for more information. Carol has offered Reiki in both educational and medical settings - to students, patients, and families. As a dedicated, professional, and sensitive hospice volunteer, she often was selected for home visits and "11th hour" calls for patients near the end of life transition.
